Assessing the applicability of the framework of Reinventing Government in Palestinian Public Institutions

Abstract
The aim of this study is assessing the applicability of the framework of Reinventing Government in Palestinian Public Institutions.
Researcher adopted a descriptive and analytical methodology. Questionnaire was employed as a data collection tool from the study sample which were (43) public leaders. Then, the collected data analyzed using SPSS software. Moreover, researcher had conducted (6) personal interviews with public leads and policy makers
All respondents had agreed on the must need of remedy policy. Also, the highest acceptance level was scored for the principle of "Anticipatory government", which reflect a professional governmental response to crises and disasters. In contrast, the lowest acceptance level was scored for the principle of "Community owned Government
Researcher recommended that the Palestinian government need to adopt a governmental reform plan, by enhancing: the spirit of community initiative, more decentralization, the level of citizen and community participation, and more privatization. Also, develop: practical plan to enhance the quality of governmental services, financial policies that maximize the utilization of government expenditures, the National Crisis and Disaster Management Corporation, motivational plan for public servants, a periodic assessment form to observe and note emerging needs of citizens, and a periodic assessment form for all governmental services
